——记海曙赫威斯学校第三届攀岩比赛

The Third Rock Climbing Competition of Haishu HanvosSchool

 

 十二月,迈着轻盈的舞步、踏着舒缓的节奏走来,凝结的霜开始露出笑脸。继第一二届攀岩比赛圆满落幕之后,二三年级的孩子们斗志未消,利用课间活动反复练习,以期在下次比赛当中崭露头角、续写故事。一年级的孩子也跃跃欲试,希望可以大展拳脚,脱颖而出。12月9日下午2:30,在孩子们的殷切期许中,海曙赫威斯学校第三届攀岩比赛终于如期而至了。

 The ThirdRock Climbing Competition of Haishu Hanvos School was held on December the 9th,2016.

攀岩即徒手攀登岩壁,英语称作“Free Climbing”。这里是指不依赖任何外在的辅助力量,只靠攀登者的自身力量完成攀登过程。攀岩运动要求人们在各种高度及不同角度的岩壁上,连续完成转身、引体向上、腾挪甚至跳跃等惊险动作,集健身、娱乐、竞技于一身,给人以优美、流畅、刺激、力量的感受,被称为“峭壁上的芭蕾”。

Climbingis an increasingly popular form of rock climbing performed on artificial structures that attempt tomimic the experience of outdoor rock. It isthe activity of using one's hands, feet, or any other part of the body toascend a steep object. It is done recreationally or competitively.

   

与前两次攀岩规则不同,此届攀岩难度加大,要求参赛选手们在规定时间内完成十块攀岩板的来回。敢于挑战自我,不断突破,与时间赛跑,这对小选手们的毅力和耐力又将是一个很大的考验。

Unlikeformer climbing competitions, this time all the players need to challengethemselves to make breakthroughs as well as compete with other players. Itrequires both stamina and endurance.

   

攀岩最重要的锻炼价值在于挑战自我,与对抗性项目不同,攀岩是以自己为对手,不断克服心中的恐惧,向着顶峰勇敢攀登,这与青少年在成长过程所需要培养的意志十分契合。它让孩子们在娱乐放松中锻炼上肢力量和身体协调性,同时促进自身的身心健康。

Beingdifferent from confrontational projects, climbing is a challenge to oneself toovercoming fears and to bravely climbing to the peak. Also, it helps childrento build up their bodies, especially the upper body strength.

运动产生热量,锻炼孩子的体能。同时,锻炼时全身的含氧量增加,也会使人精神饱满、感觉灵敏。所以,锻炼不仅使人身体健康,而且使人心情愉快,让我们在健康快乐中乐享学习吧!

Climbingnot only makes one healthy, but also makes one happy. Let us enjoying thisclimbing competition as well as time in Haishu Hanvos School.
